Call for Papers: JSPS-NFSC 2024 International Workshop
Topic: Social Media Advertising and Digital Marketing
Submission Deadline: November 25, 2024
We are pleased to invite researchers and practitioners to submit abstracts for the JSPS-NFSC 2024 International Workshop, to be held at Kansai University, Osaka, Japan. This workshop provides an interdisciplinary platform for scholars from Japan, China, and beyond to discuss cutting-edge research on social media advertising, digital marketing, and related areas such as computational advertising and neuromarketing.
Workshop Topics
We welcome submissions on the following topics (but are not limited to):
- Effectiveness of Digital Advertising Tactics
- Influencer Marketing Strategies and Impact
- Advertising with Virtual and Augmented Reality
- Personalized Advertising in the Digital Era
- Digital Advertising Effects on Consumer Behavior
- Advertising Literacy in a Digital Environment
- Effectiveness of Digital Advertising Strategies (e.g., celebrity endorsements, stereotypes, emotional appeals, argument strength, etc.)
- Sponsored Content Marketing
- Native Advertising Practices
- Advertising Disclosures in Digital Media
- Ethical Considerations in Digital Advertising (e.g., endorsements of unhealthy foods, alcohol, cigarettes, or medicines)
Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract in English (up to 800 words) in MS-Word format. The abstract should follow the structure outlined below and must be submitted via the submission system by the deadline.
Abstract Structure (based on guidelines from Emerald Publishers, such as the European Journal of Marketing):
- Title
- Purpose (Objective of the study)
- Study design/methodology/approach (Methods used)
- Findings (Key results or expected outcomes)
- Originality/value (Contribution to the field)
- References (optional)
- Figures (optional)
Please submit your abstract and author bio to our submission system by November 25, 2024. The organizing committee will conduct a peer-review of the abstracts and notify the authors of acceptance by December 1, 2024. Selected abstracts will be presented in the form of parallel sessions.
